Fractions

This half term we will continue learning about fractions, we will be learning how to add and subtract fractions with the same denominator before learning how to find unit and non-unit fractions of a set of objects and an amount. 

We will use a range of representations using different resources to support us in developing our knowledge of fractions.

Money

After learning about fractions, we will learn about money. We will begin my consolidating our learning on pounds and pence before learning how to convert these, add and subtract money and find change. We will think about the most efficient methods to use when adding and subtracting amounts.
