The First Drawing 

In English this half term we will be using the book 'The First Drawing' to support our writing. 

We will be exploring writing in different tenses and person before then learning how to extend our sentences, using description and grammatical features, such as conjunctions and prepositions. We will then apply our learning, to write our own historical narrative based on 'The First Drawing'.

How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth

The second text we are using to support our writing this half term is 'How to Wash a Woolly Mammoth'. We will work on consolidating on knowledge of different sentence types and applying these into writing our own set of instructions; aswell as using a range of conjunctions to extend our writing.
