Multiplication and Division

During this half term, we will be learning our 3, 4 and 8 x tables through learning how to multiply and divide by these numbers. We will learn about sharing and grouping and will be taught to think about the times tables we already know and how they can support us to learn new times-tables. We will then be able to apply our knowledge of these times tables to different mathematical areas throughout the year. 

After consolidating our learning of the 2, 5 and 10 x tables and learning our 3s, 4s and 8s, we will be learning how to multiply and divide 2-digit by 1-digit numbers.
