Fractions

This half term, we will be exploring unit and non-unit fractions where we will understand the role of the numerator and denominator and compare and order unit and non-unit fractions. We will then work on finding equivalent fractions using both number lines and bar models.

Mass and Capacity 

After learning about fractions we will then move on to learning about mass and capacity. We will learn to measure in grams, kilograms, millilitres and litres before comparing measurements and finding equivalent masses and capacities.
