Uses of everyday materials
In our Science lessons, we will revisit and consolidate our learning from Year 1. We will explore the difference between natural and man-made objects and describe the properties of the materials. We will identify and compare the suitability of a variety of everyday materials, including wood, metal, plastic, glass, brick, rock, paper and cardboard. We will also find out how the shapes of solid objects made from some materials can be changed by squashing, bending, twisting and stretching.
