Writing to Entertain:

In English, we will be using the text ‘The Highwayman’ by Alfred Noyes. We will be working on developing our vocabulary in order to describe the character at the end of the poem. We will also be exploring how to produce a guide to different punishments, linking to our History learning.

Our class author this half term will be Sophie Anderson and the children will be exposed to a wide range of texts by this author, including The House of Chicken Legs, as well as non-fiction texts based on our History topic.
