Safeguarding and Welfare of our Pupils

Safeguarding our children is embedded in our curriculum and everyday culture. 

The staff and governors at Bredon Hancock's Endowed CE First School believe that it is always unacceptable for a child to experience abuse of any kind. We recognise our responsibility to safeguard the welfare of all children.
Our aim is to work together to safeguard children by:

• protecting children from maltreatment;
• preventing impairment of children’s health or development;
• ensuring that children are growing up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care;
• taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes;
• teaching children how they can keep themselves safe;
• taking action to ensure that children attend school every day.
