We will be using the text 'How to Help and Hedgehog and Protect a Polar Bear' to support our writing. Our focus is on features of persuasive writing, with our end of unit piece to be to write a persuasive letter. We will be learning how to use subordinating conjunctions, rhetorical questions and emotive language to help emphasis our point and make the reader think. We will then learn how to support our argument with reasons and evidence and research facts that we can include in our persuasive letter.
