History

How have explorers changed the world? The children will find out about events and people beyond living memory. Particularly explorers and what makes them significant.

ART

Craft and design

This unit focuses on developing pupils' ability to express opinions about art, use creative techniques like wool wrapping and weaving.

DT

Textiles

The children will design a puppet and use a template. Join their two puppets’ faces together as one. Decorate a puppet to match their design.

PSHE – Jigsaw Relationships

This will look at understanding friendship, family and other relationships, conflict resolution and Science communication skills.

Music

This unit is: Having fun with improvisation.

The children will explore How music can play a significant part in helping us get through our daily life.  They will be given chances to learn new songs to sing and play on the glockenspiels as well as being given chances to improvise their own music.

Computing

This half term we will be looking at digital writing. They will develop their understanding of the various aspects of using a computer to create and manipulate text.
