Police Visit

On Tuesday (18.6.24), we were treated to a visit from PC Molly. She talked to us about the importance of telling the truth, not speaking to strangers and being respectful in the community. After, the children were given the opportunity to go into the police car and try on the police uniform. The children loved making the police siren go off and finding out the different noises it made. Some children were even 'arrested' and put in the back of the police car.

Making Jam Sandwiches!

As part of our 'Disgusting Sandwich' work in English, we had to use our 4 rules of listening to follow a set of instructions to make a jam sandwich. We checked to see if we had the ingredients required and checked that we had sequenced the instructions correctly. We then worked collaboratively to create our sandwich and we have thought of ways that we could make this sandwich disgusting!

Art and Design - Sculpture

In our art lessons, we have been building up to making a clay tile. We have explored using different techniques to shape the clay and make patterns in the clay. We then designed our house in our sketch, thinking about how we would flatten the clay, shape the clay and make patterns in the clay. Independently, we worked to create our final design.
