Building on from our learning last half term, we will continue to identify and name a variety of plants and animals in their habitats. We will then learn about microhabitats. The children will observe the plants and animals in the microhabitats around our school grounds.
A microhabitat is a very small part of a habitat, such as a clump of grass or a space between rocks.
Finally, we will learn how animals obtain the food from plants and animals, using the idea of a simple food chain.
