This term we will be focusing on building the children’s writing skills – in particular writing to entertain. We will be looking at sentence structure and retelling and imitating stories and letter formation.

Phonics

Phonics The children will continue to have daily phonic lessons carrying on from those covered in their Reception Year. The reading books they bring home from week 4 will be linked to the blends that they have been learning that week in school.
