Eating, Exercise and Hygiene
In Science, we will be exploring the concepts of ‘Eating, Exercise and Hygiene’. We will be looking at the importance of exercise for humans, eating the right amounts of different types of food and exploring how to maintain our hygiene. We will be learning about foods that contain protein, carbohydrates, and fats and the importance of vitamins, minerals, fibre and water.
We will also be using the texts 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' and 'The Couch Potato' to help us make links to eating healthily and the importance of exercising, along with texts that help us to recognise the importance of keeping clean.
