Living Things and their Habitats 

Throughout Spring Term, Year 2 will be learning about Living Things and their Habitats. Children will:

• classify items into living and not-living (once alive and never alive)
• identify living processes
• describe living processes
• identify habitats and match animals and plants to these
• explain how animals and plants are adapted to their habitats
• locate and observe microhabitats
• record information
• construct simple food chains
