We will be focusing on continuing to build the children’s writing skills – in particular writing to entertain. We will continue looking at sentence structure including full stops, capital letters and finger spaces to make sure they are being used correctly. This half term the children will be challenged to use effective adjectives and conjunctions to link sentences together.

Phonics

The children will continue to have daily phonic lessons carrying on from those covered in the Autumn term.
