DT

The children will design a puppet and use a template. Join their two puppets’ faces together as one. Decorate a puppet to match their design.

Physical Development

Invasion games

In this unit, pupils develop their understanding of attacking and defending and what being 'in possession' means.

Team building

In this unit pupils develop their teamwork skills. They work individually, in pairs and in small groups, learning to take turns, work collaboratively and lead each other.

Music

This unit is: Having fun with improvisation.

The children will explore How music can play a significant part in helping us get through our daily life.

PSHE – Jigsaw

Relationships:

This will look at understanding friendship, family and other relationships,

conflict resolution and communication skills.

History

How have explorers changed the world?

The children will find out about events and people beyond living memory.  Particularly explorers and what makes them significant.

Computing

This half term we will be looking at digital writing.  They will develop their understanding of the various aspects of using a computer to create and manipulate text.
