This half term we will be looking at deepening their knowledge of place value and addition and subtraction within 10 using reasoning and problem solving as the basis of some of our lessons. We will then go on to look at Geometry – recognising and sorting 3D shapes.

Some of our key question will include:

What is a fact family?

How many left?

Can you subtract using a number line?

How many are left?

What shape is this?
