  Traction Man is Here

We will begin the year by using the text 'Traction Man is Here' to support our writing. We will start by immersing and familarising ourselves with the text through oral rehearsal and sequencing of events. We will then revisit how to write simple sentences before moving on to adding description to our writing using adjectives. We will then learn how we can extend our sentences through using conjunctions. To consolidate our learning, we will write our own versions of 'Traction Man is Here' through innovating the original story.

 Our author spotlight is on: Roald Dahl.
In class we will be reading George's Marvellous Medicine. We will learn all about Roald Dahl as an author and have access to a range of his books in the classroom that we can enjoy.
