Dream, Believe, Work, Achieve!

Year 1

This week we have been using our creativity to make beanstalks, learning the story of Jack and the beanstalk, practising our adding using an empty number line and using our numbers in french. What a lot of wonderful work we've done!

Another week down and loads more amazing work! Year 1 (and their grown ups) have been real superstars with their challenges. This week we tackled numbers, speech, investigated the differences between African and Asian elephants and of course prepared for and celebrated VE day.

Week 2 and another lot of amazing work. This week we've been investigating 3D shapes, lots of phonics and some comprehension too. I've also seen loads of imaginative play this week too which is great. Another super week Year 1. Good job!

Wow! Year 1 have amazed me this week. There has already been lots of 2D shape hunting, some problem solving, phonics bingo, planting advice, french colours and some awesome writing too! You've taken to this so well and are sharing your achievements with your friends really well. Here's a selection of our photos and written work so far. Well done guys; I'm so proud of you!
